London based financial consultants, IMS Consulting were keen to create a training DVD aimed at the Hedge Fund industry, highlighting the complicated new compliance laws. IMS knew Hedge Fund managers have little time or inclination to sit through the usual corporate training video so there was a need for a different, more appealing approach. Lagoon Media produced a 30 minute drama based in a typical Hedge Fund company. The storyline centred on a single financial transaction where the characters faced the various dilemmas and legal processes. Shot on location in Mayfair, the drama was filmed over three days and published on DVD. IMS were so pleased with the result that they commissioned Lagoon Media to produce a second drama aimed at the Private Equity sector.
